Another great Isaac story

So when Greg drops off Isaac off at school he always asks how Isaac has been doing(since we had some trouble in the beginning). Which at his conference a couple of weeks ago he got a great report that he has actually become a leader of the class??? What I have two leaders-we are in trouble(the same report came from Chloe's teacher to-but we already new how much of a leader she is:). ANYHOW, they were talking about how Jesus is sinless and comparing that to other people to get the point across that only Jesus is sinless, and Isaac was adamant that his mom and dad were sinless too!! His teacher reassured him that we to were sinless, but Isaac was not having it. So this morning at breakfast we were talking about it and I reassured him that only MOM was sinless not dad!!ha ha ha Not thinking he would repeat it, but he ran to his teacher this morning saying"my mom IS sinless, but my dad is a sinner. Oh boy we have a lot of work to do. This explains why we don't do Santa, Isaac would be confused forever on what is actually real and what isn't. Now if we can just get him to wipe his own bottom before he turns five, life would be great!!! Love that boy!!

one month already

I can't believe how the time has flown by and how much I am enjoying a newborn. He finally just grew out of newborn diapers, but the newborn clothes are still baggy. We are working on plumping him up. We are only getting up once I night and I am not feeling tired at all during the day. I think I hold him way more than the others and just love watching the kids interact with him. McKinzie has been a rock star, sweet big sister. I should video tape her so people will believe me when I tell them that she kisses him all day long. It is the sweetest thing. Isaac is a huge help when I am on the treadmill, to grab his bink or tend to him if he is crying. He will hold him but not for to long. Chloe is just awesome, words can't describe how helpful she is. She will get mckinzie out of ther bed in the morning, play with her, hold hudson, the list just goes on. Everyone needs a chloe when you get sent home with a newborn. Love that girl!!!!!! We finally got a great shot of hudson. Luke is such a trooper with me, I am so picky about pictures. Thanks Luke!!!!

Things that ONLY happen when you have mulitple children

So I am pretty sure these things only happen when you have more than one child.
1. McKinzie went to church with the bloomers stilled attached to the side of her dress and the tags still on them!!(greg got her dressed this sunday)and we didnt even notice till latter that afternoon after nap:)
2. You wake up at 9am and you were planning on attending 9am church, but think oh thats okay we will just go to the 11am service only to be 20 minutes late!!!
3. Wake up at 8:15 and the kids are to be at school in 5 minutes, the 2 youngest children are still sleeping, the 2 oldest arent dressed, no lunches packed and they go to school with no breakfast. In my defense, who thinks you will actually sleep till 8 when you have 4 little alarm clocks. Maybe things are changing at my house:)

A big thanks to luke for taking this awesome picture of my loves:)

Life with FOUR Children

This was one hour of pure torture, taking family pics with all the kids. McKinzie was a ball of energy running all over the place:) They actually had to take heads from other pics to make one good picture of all the kids. Oh how I hate taking pictures!!!!!!!!!!! There are just some things(like going out to eat with a toddler) that you just dont do at this stage. Thank goodness for grandparents so we are able to get out on dates. We went to Illinois for the day to visit gregs family. We had a great time and the kids just love playing with their cousins. We returned home to have dinner with my family and then christmas with my grandparents, aunts, and uncles from NW Iowa. It was so nice to see everyone, and catch up with everyones busy lives. Life with four children is actually wonderful. We are just loving Hudson so much. I think we are enjoying the newborn stage so much more this time since we know this will be the last baby Lybeck. We are just enjoying the craziness right now, and trying to soak it all in knowing it will pass by so fast.

He is here

Hudson Eugene Gregory Lybeck entered the world yesterday at 11:35. Greg and I actually got a date all day yesterday, my sweet doctor kept thinking a bed would open up and all these women kept coming in in actually labor. So they said come up at five when we got there they said give us five more minutes, then at six thirty we finally got a bed. She quickly broke my water so that I didn't have to give my bed up:) Around 11 things didnt seem to be progressing, then lori figured out he was face up. So she flipped him around and then he was out in seconds. It was funny b/c when just the head was hanging out greg thought it looked like a boy. We were so tired and didnt have a lot of time to look him over so thought we would just name him till today. He is so sleepy and sweet. They brought him to me once last night but he was only here for five minutes and then he didnt come back till nine am. We are a little worried about kinze keeping her hands off him:) I am looking for a crib to borrow for a little while, I need somewhere to keep him that kinzer cant get to him:) Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. My dad is coming up tonight to take pictures and I will post them later. So long from the family of six!!!

Tommorow is the big day:)

So tommorow is the big day and I can't wait. I am ready to be done and have my body back. Walking is becoming such a chore- I guess when you have so many children and so close your ligaments loosen up and start to not work so well. My parents and gregs parents are each taking a night and a day with the children. I am really sad that they are unable to come up and see the new baby, but I think we are going to try and skype them. Chloe is the only one having a really hard time with it. So any guesses out there on sex and weight. I dont have any clue, but we are not set on a name for either sex, so this baby could yet again be nameless for awhile. We will post as soon as we know more news.

New baby and sick children

So Chloe has been out of school all week with a fever and cough. I thought she was okay to go today, but thought we should double check her temp before we sent her and she had a temp. Needless to say she started to cry and was very upset. She asked for her homework yesterday so my friend picked it up for us and she had it done in a half hour. I hope this attitude will continue on throughout her school years, because it is not that easy to get Isaac to do homework:(
On tues I had my doc apt and was brought into the reality of all this flu stuff. My doc wrote me out a prescription for tamaflu as a precaution and I am suppose to call with any flu like symtoms. I guess I am measuring small so I went to have an ultrasound after that to make sure everything is all good. Baby looks great(you can tell it is a lybeck), weighing almost 7lbs and we still have 2-3 weeks left. I am 2cm dialated and the baby is head down ready to go. Not quite ready to be done yet, but I guess God will decide when the time is right. Never got to have an ultrasound this late in the game and it was very cool. Sort of hard to get any good 4ds because everything is so big, but great to know everything is okay.

Coming soon

Well we have less than a month now till this baby arrives. My best friend lora just had her baby which sent me into "make sure you have everything mode". You would think with this being the fourth child and the last one the closest I would have tons of stuff, but I really like to clean out. I actually got ride of all my maternity clothes days after each child was born, have no newborn outfits of any child, and thought we were done after mckinzie. Of course my mom is prepared and has a tub of clothes for each gender and I know a great place to get lots of great STUFF!@!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have been down and out this last week with fevers. Starting with Isaac on Monday and kinner on wed. The girls all stayed home to mend while the boys were in a family wedding this weekend in Illinois. It is so nice having them home, I really dont do well when my husband is gone. I rely on him for lots of help:) I have had the pleasure to go on a field trip with each child in the last two weeks. Last friday I went with Chloes class to the Solon nursing home to make crafts (elderly people are my love-but crafts not so much:). Then this friday I went with Isaacs class to the Apple Orchard-this is my absolute favorite fall activity just couldn't pass it up. Chloe is also in dance and they were in the homecoming parade last friday. She was just to cute and loved every minute of it. Chloe and Isaac are really excited for the arrival of the new baby and I am so glad the will have thanksgiving break and some other days of so I will have there help. They are both so helpful with kinner-I really love the days Isaac is home to play with her and she does to. Chloe acts so older beyond her age and is truly such a big help around the house-love that.

I of course was the only mom without my camera on both field trips and there was no family around so no new pics to post, sorry. I will for sure have pics of the new baby though-b/c I know we wont be able to keep family away from that:)

What we have been up to

Fist of all I have to say a huge thanks to barb for all these pics which she took. I am so glad my family like taking pics, because I just dont every think about it. These pics are a slew of things going on around here. There are a few pics of our trip to Chicago with Barb and Brian. We had such a great time and the kids loved seeing cousin Wade. Gregs parents were so generous and we were well taken care of. This saturday my grandparents came and all the adults went out to eat while Luke babysat our children:) Thanks Luke(not only did he do a great job, but he likes to be paid in food)-I keep wondering how hard it will be to get a sitter with 4 children. Then on sunday gregs cousin Lissa came and did everyones hair all day. Then after that we had Chloes birthday party here. Everyone helped put up our swing set(yeah thanks everyone the kids are loving it). I just had my doc apt yesterday and everything looks good. I am on orders to EAT-can you believe that. I have gained the least amount of weight so far with this pregnancy, but have the worst vericous and spider veins that just seem to keep growing. I think it is due to the move and all the running around with the kids. We are on every two weeks now-can't believe it is almost here already. Cant wait to meet the new LYBECK:)

They say its your birthday..............LOLA

So I am having such a hard time beiliving that my girl Lola is seven today. Seven years ago we went into the hospital with a small leak in my water bag and 5 hours later little miss chloe was born. Everyone was there and it was so exciting, we will always remember her major conehead b/c she came out so fast and those big lips. Little did we know what we were in for when we came home...............hello why doesnt anyone tell you it will be so hard. Oh thats right b/c you wouldnt listen anyways. Well know she is the best helper anyone could ask for. She is always wanting to play with her brother and sister, and is very excited about the new baby. I just wish she was not at school so much so she could help me out a little more:) I am so thankful to have a daughter, there is such a bond there that you just dont get with a boy. Chloe is sweet, caring, funny, smart, bossy, social butterfly, a great helper, and has to be pushed into trying new things. Then she never wants to stop b/c she loved it so much. Today has been a whirlwind, but we always try to make birthdays special for our kids. People think it is terrible that we dont get our kids presents for there birthday(you are all dying right know, but our kids get so much from our families that we dont need to buy them more.) So instead we made her breakfast, took her out to chinese for lunch, then after school we are hitting the apple orchard to get pumpkins, and yes going out to dinner after that. We never eat out so when my kids ask for something it is a very special treat to eat out. Chloe is such a sweet girl and I am so that I have her as my oldest daughter. Love ya CHLOE BETH!!!!

Eight years of BLISS:)

Well we have made it 8 years:) Almost 4 kids later and lots of fun and laughter, I could not be happier with the man God has chose for me to spend the rest of my life with. When I look back over the 8 years there has of course been some hard times, but the good by FAR out weights the bad. Tommorow is our officially anniversary(9-1-01) scarry isnt it we were married on 911. Easy to remember though. I have to work tommorow night and wed night, and then we are leaving on family vacation thurs for the whole weekend. I guess that we dont need some big huge vacation to show each other how much we love each other, But that does not mean that I am hoping for one in the coming years, maybe when I am actually not pregnant or have a newborn:) I love you babe and am looking forward to many more wonderful years:0

How Isaac is doing in school.............

So after the first day of school Isaac's response about it was"he didn't get to have a snack and there was no recess". They were only there 3 hours, so I thought this was possible. WRONG- When Greg dropped Isaac off at school on Wednesday he thought he should tell her that I Isaac likes to be facetious. She already learned this as she caught Isaac sneaking his snack out of his desk. So she told him to throw it away and he would not get snack that day. So his response to how school was on Wednesday was that he loved it and that he likes playing with his friends. I think this kid my give us a run for my money. I should have know that Chloe was just to easy considering she loves doing her homework and actually goes above and beyond. Always asking to read and she even melted my heart when she told me that she went and played with the new girl yesterday b/c she didn t have anyone to play with.

The first day of school

So I had one happy and one sad, you will never guess who..................... Chloe started to well up when we were getting ready to leave her classroom, it almost made me cry(which is such a rarity). Isaac said see you later mom and started walking around to everyone"hi im isaac what is your name dude?" He loves to meet new people. After school was another story."isaac how was school today?" They didnt let me have my snack and we didnt get to go outside today. Chloe on the other hand was beeming and couldnt stop talking about how much fun she had and loves her class. They only had school until 11:40 and then we went swimming. Rough first day, huh!!!!!!!!!! Mc kinzie kept walking around the house into the kids room looking for someone to play with, I kept telling her to hand on a few months and she will have a baby doll to play with(just kidding)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The pic of kinzer is what I let her do while the kids are in school:)

All about Kinner

So we just can't even imagine our lives without her. She is such a joy and blessing. I dont know what greg and I were ever thinking just having two kids we love having kids around:) So this is just a little of what little miss kinner has been up to lately. As you can see she is our most brave child and will climb and try anything. She has such a care free spirit and she is a go with the flow kids of girl. Its almost official she is WALKING. She will walk all the way across the room and come when called(almost sounds like i am talking about a dog GOOD KINNER). Anyways I need the girl to be walking well since I will have another one I will need to be caring soon. God is good!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A few pics of the new house

So, last night our next door neighbor came over with a house warming gift. It was a cd of our house in progress from the ground up. We thought this was way awesome since we didnt make an offer on the house till May and it was started in Feb. This has got to be one of the best things about the neighborhood. The people are so friendly, nice and have tons of kids. We live on the end of a culdesac and every night there is about twenty kids down there playing. Our house buts up to a corn field right now, but it is suppose to be developed in about 5 years. We just heard news that there may be a green space right behind us. We are suprised by how peaceful it is around here. We can sit out on our screened in porch at night and her the birds. I have yet to take any pics of the inside(big suprise as I cant even get pics taken of my kids:) Hopefully I can get my dad over here and take some pics and then I will try and get them up.

We made it and are loving it

We are all moved in and loving it. We closed friday at noon and had all the beds up and clothes put away by five o clock. We have had lots of great help, thanks to all that have helped. The kids are in heaven in our new neighborhood there are over 30 kids on the circle under the age of 10. They love being able to walk outside and have so many friends to play with. I keep telling greg to just pinch me b/c I cant believe we are really here and this place is really our new home. Isaac of course had to come into the neighborhood with a bang.................we were down inside the neighbors house chatting when chloe burst in the door and said"MOM ISAAC JUST TOOK A POOP IN THERE FRONT YARD", well we figured out they were pretty cool as they could not stop laughing and have talked to us since the incident. That is so an Isaac move, if he doesnt know were the potty is or cant find one right away he will just got wherever is closest. Glad he feels so comfortable already. Havent had a chance to take a lot of pics, but will try to get around to it this week. Kinzer is getting really close to walking and we are just in love watching her try. The kids get so excited the scream out "GREAT JOG NINER NIN" that would be her nickname. Chloe is a little bitter as she is bunking with Isaac till the basement gets finished, but has been told to soak it up b/c she will soon never have to share again. Greg has been working non stop, as we have figured out when you buy a new house there is a lot of stuff to take care of. Thanks babe, I am little on his case as I want our basement finished before the baby comes, but only god knows when we will get that done. Off to bed, it is extremely exhausting moving while you are pregnant, I think I will always be trying to catch up on sleep.

IT'S A.........................

So we had our ultrasound yesterday and we OF COURSE DID NOT find out what the baby was. We absolutely, hands down love the suprise of not knowing. We only found out with chloe and none of the others. It has also worked great with Chloe and Isaac because they dont care what sex it is when they see the baby. They just fall in love with the baby whatever it may be. We are just so excited to have a healthy baby to add to the lybeck clan. This has proved to be my hardest pregnancy yet. Felt more sick then I did with kinner and cant seem to get over the runs. I have to take in a sample today to see if I have an infection or what the heck is wrong with me. I just hope they dont tell me well you should steer clear of the chocolate b/c that causes the runs. I am willing to deal with it for the chocolate. Maybe to much info for some of you out there, sorry:()

Anyways I also forgot to post about kinners birthday(sorry third child). Anyway kinners birthday was celebrated in the rv driving to st louis. She is not walking yet but very close. She did take her first stumble down the stairs(yes all my children have:( and the kids tell me she was trying to walk down them. UMMMMMMMMMMMMM hello dont watch her fall catch her or her fall. I think sometimes I may ask a little to much of them. They are such great helpers though.

We are very much enjoying our summer, mostly at the pool. My kids are fishes, they go to swim lessons and then to nanas in the afternoon. My cousins (13-15 year old girls) are here right now and are such a blessing to me. I have been able to run every morning by MYSELF, run errands, go on dates, and lots of fishing. IT IS AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess it is what we have to look forward to when they get older!!!

RVing WITH THE WHOLE FAMILY

So we just got back from an awesome trip with the fam hitting St Louis and ending up in Kentucky for a wedding. We had a wonderful trip, we started out hitting St Louis with mom and dad in the RV about 9pm on wed evening. Needless to say you couldn,t see much of the RV park, so the sunlight unvailed a beautiful cement parking lot some would call an RV park. Kids kept asking where the grass was and why we couldnt have any fires???? Not to mention they pack you in like sardines, when we arrived and started pushing out the sides greg yelled to my dad WHOA or you will hit the neighbors. I guess that is how you do it in Missouri?? The next day the guy at the rv park told us it was about a twenty minute bike ride to the zoo, sounds reasonable right with three children. Wrong it took over an hour and the kids barely made it back without falling asleep........................this is what we saw. Needless to say greg had to carry isaac for a little while b/c he was riding a bike. Anyway we got back to the cement pad that had a nice pool and cooled off. The next day we hit the arch which was a huge hit for the fam, then headed on down to Kentucky for a family wedding. The wedding was awesome, I just love watching people get married it makes me love my husband even more:) The kids did awesome as we did lots of practicing sitting and being quiet. My parents were and awesome help and even got our awesome hotel room in Kentucky. Well my build in babysitters arrive tommorow and I can hardly wait. Date night at the lybecks for two weeks staight..............YEE HAH!!!

My sweet little boy......

So this sunday greg and I decided it was time for Isaac to start listening and sitting through church. He has been a handful when we go out to eat and at any other place (when it includes sitting and listening for an extended period of time). So we were more than 10 minutes into the sermon and the paster asked a question, not intending for someone to answer and of course it was my son who yelled out NO!!!!!!!!!!!!(i dont remember the question, but yes I was listening). Greg was getting ready to get up and take him out when everyone started dying laughing, and I instantly got hot all over. I also didnt hear the pastor say that LITTLE GIRL is right. Come on he has the deepest voice I have ever heard come from a little boy. All in all he did do a pretty good job and we are ready for next week, but think we will take something that he can stick in his mouth for a long time.

On saturday I worked all day and greg was in charge of the kids(which I must say he normally always does a great job, probably better than me:)) So his day started of with finding baby K in the toilet, not just playing the toilet(which she does a lot) HER WHOLESELF in the toilet. When greg told me about that we both thought for a minute and are positive we caught Isaac doing this when he was much older than her. Anyways I got home we just put the kids down for bed and went downstairs to watch a movie. I went to move a blanket of the couch and it was stuck....................WITH WOOD GLUE TO THE LEATHER COUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We both just looked at each other and new exactly who had done it. So when Isaac awoke the next morning we asked him about the situation with the couch, and he of course explained exactly what we thought. He was squeezing it and it started coming out on the couch, so he grabbed the blanket to try and get it of...........forgot to come tell us and it got stuck to the couch. I think he learned a good lesson this day.

On Friday we were at the pool with a bunch of friends. We never put the rope up anymore at my parents, because the kid know how to swim very well now and want to swim from the deep end to the shallow end. Anyways the kids are playing and the moms and I are sitting there talking, when I dont hear Isaac saying in a very calm voice"Mom that kids is drowning". So he of course yells at the top of his lungs"MOM THAT KIDS IS DROWNING", and sure enough a kids Isaacs age was going for a toy and didnt see the down slope into the deep end and was struggling. The mom just looked in panic and my friend jumped in and grabbed him. This could have been a terrible situation and thanks the Lord he was watching over us this day, but I was so proud of my Isaac:) When I asked him about it later he very simply tells me"Mom the kids was going for the boat and then he was drowning." I love this kid!!!!!!!

Camping and all that craziness at the Lybecks....

So we packed up the gang and headed to Amboy, Illinois this weekend. Why amboy b/c we were hitting a graduation party on sunday for gregs cousing in Oregon, Illinois. We met some other family members at the campground with their three kids. It rained on us the whole drive there(2 hours and a big detour b/c the mississippi bridge was closed) this is bad b/c I HATE riding in the car for any longer than 30 min, needless to say the kids did great and were so excited when we got there b/c the rain had stopped. You would think you would find a muddy mess, but not the case here. We had a great time from swimming, hayrack rides, waterslides, the drive in movie theater, the parks, and not to mention seeing the fam. We bought a camper with Nate and Sara last summer and love it, it is the cheapest way to travel with kids and they cannot get enough. Isaac of course cried when it was time to go home and asked when we could camp again(might I add that I figured he brought his blankie along and when we arrived at the campsite and he did not have it he ended up doing great and didnt ask for it till the car ride home-this is a big step for this little guy who cant get enough of his blankie or CHOCOLATE MILK) . The grad party was great and nice to see more family again. I'm sure there will be may more camping trips to come, but know I just need to convice SARA of how much fun it is. LOL

We are having a.................

BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!HOLY COW:) I cant believe it either. We decided to have my IUD(a form of birth control) removed in February b/c I wasnt feeling very good on it. Decide to just pray for a month while on vaca and then start something when we got back from Florida. BUT God had a different plan for us:) We went to the doctor today and we are due November 17. We are very excited and now are for sure going to do something permanant after this baby is born. I am so glad that God is in charge and not me. For I know the plans I have for you, this verse keeps playing in my mind when I think of our new adventure. More to come.........................

She has finally done it

She has figured it out. Chloe can now officially ride her bike(hallaugh??). This has been a huge work in progress. Greg is much better with patience and training, so he ended up getting her to finally do it. She rode down to Isaac creamery and back the other day, and she rides everyday when she gets home from school. This is huge for us since we could not go anywhere once she is home from school this summer b/c I can't pull three kids behind my bike. It was so cute, the other morning we were doing her devotion before school and it was the story about sarah and abraham. Talking about how they had to be patient and trust in god. She was so afraid of us to let go of her for fear that she my fall and get hurt. This devo was a great example of being patient and leaning on the lord for help. Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understandings. Proverbs 3:5. So now we are working on Isaac, but a longer bike ride is do able now:) and I love to ride my bike. Way to go chloe WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU!!!!

4 year old+4 shots+baby+2 shots=lots of tears

So yesterday I took baby K and Isaac to the doctor. It was Isaacs 4 year check up, which involves a finger poke to drawl blood, lots of questions, and then 4 shots!!!! So they did the finger poke first and took his stats(which I cannot believe he is in the 80% for his weight and 75% for his height), we just grow them big at the lybeck house I guess. Then when the nurses were leaving they asked him to get down to just his underwear. UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, that would be a problem for us b/c he doesnt wear underwear. There were lots of weird stares and I am sure we were the topic of lunch discussion. Nothing new to Isaac. Anyways when the doc came in she check him all over then told him she was going to check his privates, pulls down his pants and asked if maybe she missed his underwear or did they come down when she pulled down his sweatpants. Yet again I am trying to explain he doesnt wear underwear, and her questions is well does he ever have problems with rashes or chaffing?? What?? Could we please just get over it and realize this kid just doesnt like them, okay? You would think we were done, but no then they come back for his shots and have to pull his pants down!!! Again opps did I pull his undewear down with his pants, umm no he just doesnt wear any. So then I lay on top of my poor boy(who doesnt wear any underwear)and watch him cry out in pain. I absolutely hate this age at the doctor and you would think he would be used to the doctor by know(or maybe he was confused b/c we were not at the er). So then I have to sit him in the chair, still screaming crying and get baby k shots. She is such a champ(thank goodness). I walk out of the office with two crying children:) I think he is definetly not a typical middle child. He will always stick out with that great personality. Oh the good days. Note to self: remember underwear for Isaac at the doctor, not just for sunday school.

A sneak peak..............more to come

We had the best time on our trip to florida. Everyone is just trying to get back into the swing of real life now. SUCKS!! My kids could live by the pool!!! Disney was great, barely ever had to wait. More pics to come.......................

Swim trunks and packing for our trip...........

So I have almost finished packing for our trip to disney.(yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh) I was looking up the weather to try and figure out what kind of clothes to bring for the kids. I started going through Isaacs clothes and realized that this kids owns 10 pairs of swimtrunks!!!! Oh that is right one for everyday of the week and then some in case of brownie marks. Isaac has NEVER worn undies in his whole potty trained life(which is almost two years). He went along time just free balling it???(I have no idea how to spell that), then we would make him were boxers to church(worried about what others might start saying). But no more, we just wear swimtrunks everyday(there must be some kind of comfort in the mesh lining-not so sure about that one). So Isaacs everyday attire consists of swimtrunks-some kind of shirt that NEVER matches. I do make him wear long sleeves and long pants over them- but dont you freight, he will walk in your front door and strip down to the swimtrunks. I swear this kids never gets cold!!! Anyways Isaac was the easiest to pack for and I am sure will be the least maintence(for the rest of his life I am pretty sure).

New Teeth

Gregs mom snapped this cute pics of kinzer. She has 4 teeth and counting. The best part about this girl teething is that you would have no idea. She has had a runny nose, but never fussy. All you have to do is look at her and she gives you and ear to ear grin. Pure JOY!!!

The things that make us laugh

So Isaac and I were watching the Inaguration?? on tuesday. Isaac was playing legos(not really paying attention)and I was folding laundry(I know it doesnt happen to often). Anyways Isaac started to laugh and said "Mom did you hear what that guy just said Weeters-he actually said Leaders, but easily misunderstood!!!

A sledding/snowmobling party

We had such a great time this weekend sledding for isaacs birthday. We were going to go to one of those indoor playlands for his birthday but then scrapped that idea and went for a sledding party. What a perfect day it was. Lots of friends and kids came. My brother, Luke, and greg all helped in bringing kids up the hill with the snowmobiles so no one had to walk. My dad was the photographer(thanks dad), and the weather could not have been more perfect. I was actually sweating!! Gotta love these Iowa winters. We have now decided since we had so much fun that this will be a yearly tradition for Isaacs party.

They say it's your birthday!!!!

So I can't hardly believe it my one and only son(smashed in between two girls) turned 4 today. This child brings so much joy and laughter to this home and we love him so much for it. That doesnt go to say that he has also brought me much worry. Let me just name a few of those times 1. When I get out of the shower and can find my son nowhere, where is he but running down dubuque street to return some shorts to my friend 2. One of the 4 times we have been to the emergency room 3. Have to have plastic surgery(the only one in the family) 4. Did I mention that one of those times in the er DHS came to question me(like I wasnt doing my job to protect him- i would like to see you try lady)

Okay that is enough bad it makes me nervous to think we have stayed out of the er so long, like our time is coming again. Now some of the ways he brings such joy 1. Look at that face-does he not have just the cutest smile 2. His caring heart 3. The way he cares for his sisters so much 4. How he so badly wants chloe to sleep in his room every night 5. How he loves to snuggle and be held 6. The way he talks all deep and gruff like 7. His love for adventure 8. His love for trying new thing- well maybe he is pushed a little but ends up liking it in the end 9. His love for swimtrunks(did I mention his love for dressing himself and ohh is it a scary sight somedays) 10. Look at the smile- it is so infectious!! We love you Isaac and keep on being sweet and making people laugh!!

What can make your kids wake up in 1sec @1am.......

Well the power going out and the fans shutting off. Our house sounds like a airplane engine is running during the middle of the night, because everyone has one running in there rooms(this makes for an extra great night sleep). So the power shuts off and literally one second later you can hear Isaac running into our bedroom. "Mom my light shut off and there is monsters in my room!! and this is what he tells us while laying in chloes room with a candle waiting for the power to come on, Sis the power probably wont turn on until morning." Thank you Lord it turned on just a few minutes later and we were all lulled back to sleep my the jet plane engine hummmmmmmmmm. Suprisingly Chloe didnt wake till a few minutes later and ms.kinze was laying is her bed eyes wide, but not making a peep. So thankful for power!!!!!!!

Let the parties begin.....

Well, we never buy our kids gifts for their birthdays or christmas(don't think we are terrible parents, they get more than enough gifts from our family. Oh and we also clothes and feed them all year(well isaac wears clothes most of the time!!!!!) so we sort of go all out for birthdays and let them go on FOREVER. Isaacs birthday isnt until JANUARY 19!!!!!(SOMEBODY HELP ME) Isaac had his first party this weekend with all the family. We had such a great time and it was so nice to have all the fam over. Barb bought Isaac a transformer cake and his expression was"This cake is totally awesome". Needless to say he was so excited. So this saturday we are going to attempt his first ever friends party. We are going sledding and have cake. Does sound to hard right. I will let you all know. We usually take the kids to chucky cheese on their actual birthday, but I'm hoping Isaac will maybe forget by all the festivities planned on his birthday.

Isaacs preschool program

So this is a little late, but so hillarious. This was at Isaacs preschool program and his facial expressions say it all. He hated standing in front of everyone and preforming. Then this is typical Isaac after the preformance COMPLETELY FINE!!! When asked why he did sing afterwards "he didnt want to sing" plain and simple. He is not going to be our preformer, but he sure has the cutest smile, and we love you anyway bomb.

True Kindness

So everyone always thinks that Isaac is a handful and that he keeps me so busy. Well he does keep me on my toes and constantly laughing, but I to my suprise he is a huge help with Mc Kinzie. Her face just lights up when she sees him and he cant get enough of her. This is of course not all the time, when greg was watching them on saturday he said he found Isaac putting a q-tip up her nose. When asked what he was doing"im cleaning it out" of course that is a great idea!!!! Chloe is just a natural mother and has been doing this since the day baby K was born. She gets up with baby k everyday puts her in her bed and reads to her. She also changes diapers as long as the are only pee diapers. So this is how I found my children this morning. I think we may have some babysitters in the making. McKinzies face says it all in this picture. You would think she wants to be rescued from all of this, but she never cries out for it. She started to fuss a little this morning and Isaac came running saying"just a minute kinzer I have to go to the bathroom." Brother Sisterly love, it is a beautiful thing.
